I don’t know about you, but it’s felt like such a long week! We randomly decided to go to Westminster so we could write about it, and I was surprised at the access you can get with just a general admission ticket.
We were able to go to the benching area, where all the dogs are getting prepped for the show and got to snap a ton of pictures!
There was a very disturbing story out of Illinois this week — a teen was charged with cruelty to animals for his role in allegedly killing a goldfish because he didn’t want to leave behind any witnesses during an alleged robbery — really? I tried to figure out what could have been done to prevent the goldfish killing, but I’m not sure if education would’ve helped.

We need to give a shout out to Ecorazzi in the “Every Little Bit Counts” category. They held an impromptu Facebook contest the other day. All you had to do was comment or “like” one of the statuses, and you would be entered to win a “mini-donation” ($5) to the charity of your choice. Someone commented how it was just $5, but really, every little bit counts. Of course I commented, and we were one of the three winners. Our $5 is going to Rolling Dog Ranch — an animal sanctuary for disabled animals in New Hampshire. On top of the donation they mentioned the place in their Facebook status, and as a result making their close to 4,000 fans aware of the place.
Hope everyone has a fun weekend! We have company staying with us and are heading out to the Lake George Winter Carnival. If Toby tolerates the cold, we’ll post some photos tomorrow!
