Happy Saturday! It was such a Spring like day today, so we decided to spend it at the dog park.

There is a dog park only 10 minutes from us when we are in New Jersey, but it’s not my favorite. So, we drove about an hour to the Mercer County Dog Park, which has large open areas for the dogs to play and such nice people. But, more importantly many of the dogs there are very well behaved. In fact, there are two area – one for the large dogs and one for the small dogs — but many times the little dogs will head over to play with the big dogs because they play so well together.

Toby prefers to play with the big dogs for some reason, and usually won’t give the time of day to a little dog his own size. Although today he was being a snot to all the dogs and really didn’t want to play with anyone. It got me a little concerned, because normally is a very social dog, but then I noticed his back leg was bothering him again, so maybe he was just in a little bit of pain and didn’t want to be bothered.

I tried to take some photos of all the dogs playing, but trying to get a good shot when they are all running around like crazy is, well, tough. Hope everyone had a great Saturday! We’d love to hear what you and your dog(s) did today!
