Happy Saturday! Mom rarely lets me jump on her computer and write a blog post, but she is busy trying to clean and get stuff ready for Easter tomorrow.
My Aunt Irene is staying with us today and tomorrow, and I just love her to pieces so I can’t wait till she gets here! She was with mom when I first saw her and picked her as my human, so I still consider her part of my “pack” and my tail really hurts from wagging when I see her. The only thing I’m not a fan of — she smells like …. cat! But, then I snuggle with her enough that by the time she leaves, she is covered in doggie hair and my kitten cousins get really mad at her, hehe.
Speaking of Easter, if any of you are thinking it would be really cute to give your loved one a bunny, or chick, for tomorrow’s holiday, I’d kindly ask you to rethink that. They are so adorable, (and mom almost got a bunny before me) but they are more work than you may think, and the person you are buying it for might not be ready for that commitment.

Now for some fun stuff, don’t forget there is a virtual #PawPawty on twitter this weekend to raise money for a rescue in Illinois. You can read Mom’s article about it on Tails Magazine’s website.
And, if you haven’t done do already, don’t forget to enter our latest giveaway — a Freezy Pups treat kit! Mom made them last weekend for me and they were so delish. She’s been giving me them just as they are, melting them over my dry food and even stuffed my Kong with it. If it ever warms up here, they will make a great summer treat for me. The giveaway ends tomorrow night at midnight, so hurry and enter.
We also wrote about these fun tropical looking collars, called Potcake Collars earlier this week. They’re not only stylish, but they also work to bring awareness to the plight of potcake dogs in need love loving forever homes.
Time for me to go back to my comfortable spot on the couch and nap. Have a happy Saturday and Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
