Eat Chocolate & Help Animals on National Chocolate Day

This post is for humans only, so any of you dogs or cats out there reading this, don’t eat, or try to grab from your human, a single piece of chocolate because it is very, very bad for you!

Today is National Chocolate Day and I can’t think of a better way for My Tail Hurts From Wagging So Much to celebrate it than by encouraging you to learn about, and purchase sweet goodies from Rescue Chocolate!

(But only for you and not for your pet, because chocolate can be deadly for animals, so please don’t give them a taste.)

Started by fellow animal lover and all around awesome gal, Sarah Gross, Rescue Chocolate donate 100 percent of their net profits to animal rescue organizations around the country.

What it says on their website, “the sweetest way to save a life,” is true.

Not only does their chocolate taste good and help rescues, but the vegan treats are also packaged and marketed in a way to shed light on a various issues facing pets.

And, if you’re looking for some other sweet treats, check out my Top 5 Favorite Chocolates list on my other website, The Adirondack Chick, where Rescue Chocolate is also featured. 🙂
