Pedigree Issues Voluntary Recall of Wet Dog Food

If you feed Pedigree wet dog food, you will definitely want to pay attention to this {if you haven’t heard already}: Pedigree issued a voluntary recall of a limited range of three varieties of their weight management canned food products, because of a potential choking risk.

Pedigree told us Saturday the issue has been identified and corrected at manufacturing facility. The company says no other Pedigree products were impacted, including any other variety of wet food, dry dog food, or dog treats.

“As you know, at Pedigree brand, we love all dogs and care deeply about their health, happiness and well-being,” the company said. “And, at Mars Petcare, we take our responsibility to pets and their owners seriously. Thankfully, we have not received any reports of illness or injury associated with the affected product.”
Pedigree is working with their distributors and retailers to ensure all affected products are removed from shelves.
