Cranberry Turkey Patties

What screams Thanksgiving food more than turkey and cranberries?! Combining the two knocks out two holiday favorites that your dog can also enjoy.

Cranberries can be a little tart, and to many can cause an upset tummy, so I used only a 1/4 cup of whole cranberries. To combat the tartness, I added just a little honey.
These can also be chopped up really small, and used for dog training treats. As with all of these Thanksgiving recipes, they are not complete and balanced meals and should be fed in moderation taking into consideration the size and weight of your dog.
Cranberry Turkey Patties

By Michelle Maskaly, My Tail Hurts From Wagging So Much

1 pound lean ground turkey breast
1/4 cup whole cranberries
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon olive oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Chop the cranberries using a mini chopper or by hand. In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, chopped cranberries, parsley, honey and olive oil. Mix until well combined.

Using your hands, form the mixture into medium-sized patties and place on a broiler pan so that any fat drips off.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked.

Cool before serving.

Keep refrigerated for two days or freeze until ready to use.

Enjoy!
