‘Wags for Wellness Walk’ Across the Brooklyn Bridge

If you live in the New York tri-state area, there is a fun dog walk/fundraiser going on this weekend.

The “Wags for Wellness Walk” is a two-mile fundraising dog walk featuring dogs, and their pet parents, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge to raise funds for New York City-based non-profits Animal Haven and The Animal Medical Center. An “after-pawty” will be held at the Hillside Dog Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The walk begins at 11 a.m. at The Salty Paw and will end at Hillside Dog Park with an after party till 4 p.m. after crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge. The entire walk will take approximately 40 minutes.

You can pre-register at http://www.pawgua.com/wagsforwellness. The cost is $30 for one dog and up to four people.

The event is hosted by Hosted by Pawgua, the ultimate portable, resealable dog water bottle and The Salty Paw, Andrea Arden Dog Training, Throw me a Bone NYC, The Honest Kitchen, Stella &Chewy’s and Rocco and Jezebel.

I don’t think Toby and will be able to go, but if you and your pup do, please share photos on our Facebook wall, and we’ll publish some of them here!
