Happy National Puppy Day! To celebrate I just uploaded a bunch of Toby and Maddux puppy photos! Enjoy.
If you follow us on Facebook, you know that last week “Prednisone Toby” decided he was going to reach into a garbage that is way taller than him, and grab plastic wrap that was used to wrap chicken. Honestly, I don’t even know how he reached in there. All that I do know is that… Continue reading My Dog Ate Plastic Wrap
Seriously ….. if it’s snowing, Maddux refused to go outside. He curls himself up under a blanket and that’s where he stays all day.
It’s sorta suprising I have done this before, but it was both Toby and Maddux’s first ever visit with Santa! Both of them liked it, and were super good about sitting with him. Although the question we all want to know is what they asked him to bring them for Christmas. Any guesses?

When my aunt came to visit, she immediately noticed… Continue reading Mornings With Maddux: Nature Preserve
When it comes to guilt trips, Toby is pretty darn good about it. Because of the chemo, Toby can’t be in public places. So, I had to unexpectedly leave him with my Dad this weekend. I was going to leave Maddux, too, but because I was so upset about other things that had happened on… Continue reading Toby’s Guilt Trip
Almost immediately after Toby’s second chemo treatment, my aunt from Virginia came to visit with her two dogs and we took Toby, Maddux and everyone else up to the lake for the weekend. He didn’t get to play with his relatives, but he did have a super spoiled weekend of treats and love. Toby loved… Continue reading Car Rides, Outdoor Days and Pet Fest
Seriously cannot get enough of their cuteness!
Toby and Maddux have a new brother and sister. But this time, they have feathers and not fur. Yup, that’s right, we have birds again. I say again because when I got Toby I already had a parakeet named Sky, who was the best bird anyone could ask for. He was totally bonded to me… Continue reading Our New Feathered Friends
