During this year’s BlogPaws, there was a special ACES — Animal Center Education Services — Workshop that was held for those who arrived early on the first day of the conference.

Panelists included, Mike Arms, president of the Helen Woodward Animal Center, Krissie Newman, co-founder of the Ryan Newman Foundation and Angela Morris, coordinator of P&G Pet Care‘s Office for Animal Welfare.

The goal of the workshop was to learn valuable tips on how to educate yourself and your readers about more effective ways to find families for orphaned pets.

This included fundraising ideas, educational concepts, volunteer management, public relations and marketing. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the workshop, but am please to share with you the resources that were discusses during during it.

I’ve been watching the videos below, and am really bummed, I couldn’t make it to the workshop, because there are some great and helpful hints that were gone over.
