This weekend is the Super Pet Expo in Edison, N.J. The three-day event (last day is today) features vendors from all over the country, area rescue organizations and unique products.
It’s been a few years since I last attended this event, but not much has changed — it’s a crowded, chaotic mess of people and pets. Most of the vendors are pet related, but if you do trade shows and expos often, don’t expect it (and the $13 admission fee) to live up to others. Granted it is also held the same weekend as Westminster, so I’m sure that has something to do with it.
The event is, however, a good opportunity for rescue groups to get their pets seen by potential adopters, but there seemed to be a lot less than there have been in the past.We even fell in love with several cute faces!
We did get to meet the fabulous guys from Rescue Ink, who were kind enough to take a picture with Toby, as well as became aware of a new dog treat on the market that supports local farms. We’ll be introducing you to them in the coming weeks.
You can see all our pictures from the event on our Facebook page.
