Video Blog: Toby’s Leg

Thank you, everyone for the nice tweets yesterday after we mentioned that Toby had to go to the vet.

To get everyone up to speed, Toby hurt his leg two weeks ago after running around in the snow. This is a known issue with him, and did our regular crate rest. Well, Sunday afternoon, Toby threw up twice. Then, Sunday into Monday, Toby threw up four times throughout the night.

I decided it was time to go to the vet.

While we were there, they also looked at his leg. You’ll see in the video how he hold it “funny” and some of the different options we are thinking about, because this time, I think he did a little more damage than usual. But, my vet also suggested his pain could be caused by something I never even thought of.

I thought a video would be a good way to document the process and everything we are doing.

Oh, hate to see Toby feeling so bad :(. Hope he gets to feeling better fast!!! Good that your vet thought to test him for Lyme disease rather than possible surgery, although I don't know anything about Lyme either. We are definitely keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers.
