Loving Pet’s Barksters Dog Treats Review & Giveaway

Toby absolutely loved these Barkster dog treats, and I did, too! When looking at the ingredients for them I was surprised to see there was only four in both flavors.

In the Brown Rice and Beef Krisps, the ingredients are brown rice, rice flour, beef and rice bran oil. In the Sweet Potato and Chicken Krisps, there are sweet potatoes, rice flour, chicken and rice bran oil.

Created by the New Jersey-based Loving Pets Corporation, they are low fat, wheat and gluten free and are made in the U.S.

The write up on the side of the package also informs customers that the treats support U.S. farmers and is produced entirely in the U.S.

I always try to take photos of Toby with any products we’re reviewing, but this time it was hard to get him doing a sit, stay and leave it, because all he wanted to do was dive right in.

This was when I couldn’t help but grab my video camera….

He really loved them, and now, your dog can try them, too!

  1. My dogs don't react at all to the word treat- but ask them about a "cookie" or if they want some "breakfast" and I get a head tilt, ears perked, and runs to their kennels.

  2. One dog doesn't know treat but knows cookie and will come to investigate when we say cookie. The other knows treat v. well and will race over and sit in front of me, with one paw anxiously raised, when I say 'treat'. It has turned out to be a great training tool!

  3. When Lily hears the "T" word she immediately runs to her treat jar and sits patiently…no energetic spinning or jumping just a patient sit and wait to see if its going to be a freebie or if she'll be doing tricks to "earn" it 😉
